Hunt 4 Happiness

Winter Wonderland

Alamogordo Winter Wonderland

OFCU in Alamogordo donated and decorated “Everybody is Somebody in New Mexico” Christmas tree for the Boys & Girls Club Winter Wonderland Auction. Their tree auctioned for $1200…proceeds go to Boys & Girls Club of Alamogordo.

Roswell Winter Wonderland

OFCU in Roswell decorated and donated a Christmas tree for The Casa Program’s Winter Wonderland Auction. Their tree auctioned for $1,000…proceeds go to the Casa Program in Roswell.

HAFB Dorm Dinner

OFCU sponsored, made and served dinner on HAFB for November’s Dorm Dinner. We served Pozole with the option of bread, crackers, cabbage, onion, lime, cheesecake and a drink.

Veterans Day Dinner

OFCU had 14 volunteers help serve dinner to our community’s Veterans on Friday, November 8.

Trunk or Treat

OFCU held a Trunk or Treat in Alamogordo on Thursday, October 31st and in Roswell on Wednesday, October 30th. Combined, OFCU handed out over 18,500 candies, about 1,300 glow sticks, 500 hot cocoas, 500 waters and 400 cookies. Alamogordo had 15 vehicles and Roswell had 10 vehicles with a total of 68 volunteers!

Burning of the Bull

OFCU had 6 volunteers help run the ticket booth at the Burning of the Bull event on Saturday, October 19th.

Battle of the Food Trucks

OFCU sponsored and gathered volunteers to help with Round 3 of the Battle of the Food Trucks Saturday, October 12th. 10 Volunteers ran food to the judges from about 25 food trucks!

Highway Cleanups

Holloman Highway CleanUp

OFCU had 14 staff volunteer their time on Saturday, October 5th with AFSA to help clean up part of the Holloman Highway.

Holloman Highway CleanUp & Ruidoso Great American CleanUp

OFCU had 18 staff volunteer their time on Saturday, April 20 with AFSA to help clean up part of the Holloman Highway and Sunday, April 21 with Ruidoso to help keep Ruidoso beautiful.

Balloon Festival

OFCU sponsored and served the pilots dinner to kick-off the Balloon Festival on Friday, September 20th.

Day of Caring

OFCU participated in Thrive’s Day of Caring on Friday, September 20th. The OFCU team helped paint the Thrive driveway and cleaned up a neglected yard.

4th of July Parade

OFCU 4th of July Parade – Party in the USA

OFCU had a GREAT time celebrating the 4th of July Parade in Alamogordo. Thank You to everyone & their family/friends who volunteered several hours to help represent OFCU in the community.

HAFB Air Show

HAFB Legacy of Liberty Air Show – June 2

OFCU sponsored the air show and had a booth at the event on Sunday, June 2nd.

Golf Tournament

Scholarships/Golf Tournament

OFCU’s annual scholarship golf tournament was held Monday, May 27th, at Desert Lakes Golf Course in Alamogordo. All proceeds will go to fund OFCU’s scholarships for the area students.

Purple Up

Purple Up! for Military Kids April 15th

“Purple Up! For Military Kids” is a day for Department of Defense Education Activity communities to wear purple to show support and thank military children for their strength and sacrifices.
